Introduction
This small bronze animal statue is a product currently being sold by our company. Its design is a replica of a Tang Dynasty sancai (three-color glazed) white-glazed horse artifact. This artifact was unearthed in 1981 from the tomb of An Pu and his wife in Luoyang, Henan, China. It is made of low-temperature lead-glazed pottery, entirely white-glazed, and approximately 70cm tall. It is currently housed in the Luoyang Museum. Our product's design is primarily a replica of its form.
This small animal bronze sculpture is mainly cast using the traditional lost-wax method. The surface is hand-painted at high temperatures by skilled craftsmen. The horse's body is entirely blue-green, while the saddle, reins, and ornaments are gold. The two colors create a strong contrast and distinct layers. The hooves are black, and it is paired with a black marble base, giving it a heavy and stable overall feel.
