1. Proportion and expression. On an 11.5 ft (3.5 m) sculpture, even small errors in anatomy, posture, or facial expression are easy to spot. So we scale up only from a clay or digital model you have approved, with the face, hands, clothing folds, and pose all confirmed. A change after casting costs far more than one made in clay.

2. Built for long-term outdoor display. A properly cast bronze human statue can last for decades as an outdoor bronze statue with basic care. Bronze resists corrosion, and our hot patina and wax seal add a protective surface layer against sun, rain, and humidity. If your site is coastal or highly humid, tell us in advance and we will adjust the surface treatment and maintenance plan.

3. Flexible styles and finishes. A large bronze human sculpture can be cast in realistic, cartoon, abstract, or pop-art styles. Surface finishes include natural bronze, black, green patina, other hot-patina colors, and gilding. This piece combines vivid color with gilded details; other color schemes are available on request.

4. Requirements differ by client. Our clients include public institutions, schools, developers, hotels, galleries, and private collectors. Some need approval documents for a public art project, others need installation drawings for a contractor, and we prepare the documents each project needs.

We produce bronze sculptures mainly through lost-wax casting, a technique in use for thousands of years that captures fine detail and produces durable castings. Our foundry uses both silica sol lost-wax casting (also called silica sol investment casting) and plaster casting, supported by our own equipment and a quality management system. A large bronze human sculpture is usually cast in sections and then joined into one piece.

Design and approval. We prepare model drawings from your sketches, photos, or 3D files and confirm them with you. Nothing goes into production without your approval.

1.Enlargement and sectioning. The model is enlarged to full size, then divided into sections that are practical to cast, transport, and install.

2.Molds and wax patterns. A mold and a wax pattern are made for each section. Facial features, textures, and clothing details are refined at the wax stage.

3.Shell building and pouring. Each wax pattern is coated in a ceramic shell. Once the wax has been melted out, molten bronze is poured into the empty shell.

4.Welding and finishing. After cleaning, the castings are welded together, and our craftsmen grind the weld seams until they are flush with the surface.

5.Hot patination. Using high-temperature hot patination, we apply color to the heated bronze to match the design, then seal the surface with wax. This step matters most for outdoor pieces.

6.Quality inspection. Before shipping, we check the dimensions, surface, weld seams, and overall appearance, and resolve any issues at the foundry.

The taller and heavier a large bronze statue is, the more important its structure becomes, and the point applies even more to a monumental bronze statue. For an 11.5 ft (3.5 m) figure like this one, we plan the structure alongside the sculptural form from the design stage.

Internal support structure. A load-bearing frame is designed inside the casting to keep the pose stable for the long term.

Center of gravity and stress points. We pay particular attention to areas where stress concentrates, such as the raised arm, the backward-tilted head, and slender ankles or feet.

Section joints. The sections are welded and reinforced so that the finished piece bears load as a single whole.

Wind and environment. Outdoor sculptures face wind, rain, temperature swings, and sometimes vibration, so we account for these when planning the structure and base.

Foundation and anchoring. We provide base drawings and anchoring details matched to your ground conditions, so your contractor can prepare the foundation.
