The Casting Process
The statue is made by lost-wax casting (ceramic shell investment casting), a method that captures fine surface detail and delivers consistent results.
1.Sculpting: We create a 3D file or clay sculpt for client approval.
2.Molding and wax pattern: We make the mold, pour in the wax, and finish the wax pattern.
3.Shell building: The wax pattern is coated in alternating layers of slurry and sand to form the ceramic shell.
4.Dewaxing and firing: The wax is melted out, and the shell is fired.
5.Pouring: Molten bronze is poured into the shell.
6.Finishing: We remove the ceramic shell, then cut, weld, grind, and polish the piece so that seams and textures blend naturally.
7.Patina: Color is applied and sealed with wax to protect the surface.
8.Quality inspection: Before shipping, we check the figure's form, weld areas, details, surface color, and structural stability.

Project Case: Su Shi Bronze Statue at Zhongshan Park, Huizhou
In 2024, a client commissioned a bronze statue of the classical figure Su Shi for Zhongshan Park in Huizhou, Guangdong, China. The theme was "Su Dongpo Eating Lychees." The statue stands 2.4 m (7.9 ft) tall and 3.5 m (11.5 ft) wide.
